About The Role:
As part of our commitment to delivering high quality community assets, we are creating two new Open Space and Property Project Officer roles. With a focus on open space and property projects, these roles are responsible for the successful coordination and delivery of Council’s annual capital works program and minor maintenance renewal projects.
As generalist project officers, these positions manage construction projects from initiation through to completion, ensuring that works are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard for our community. These roles directly contribute to improving the quality and accessibility of Council’s open spaces and property assets.

About Our Team:
The Construction and Delivery team helps build the future of our City. Featuring project and operations engineers, labourers and landscape developers who work on our tree canopy targets, we collaborate to create secure structures and appealing landscapes for our City.
The Open Space and Property Delivery business unit is a blend of experienced project superintendents managing delivery contracts and specialist internal construction delivery teams.

We have two vacancies offered as full-time, three-year fixed term opportunities.
The Open Space and Property Project Officer position is classified at Administration Level 5, with a starting salary of $103,798 per annum + Super + Annual Leave Loading.
